New Design Completed!!!I've just finished Angela's custom design for her gathering room. Its a lovely space with lots of light and loads of antiques to work with. I'm excited to have the opportunity to bring it all together!
Here's the inspiration:

image from Better Homes & GardensShe has an area rug with loads of colour and a black background so my goal is to coordinate the other elements in the room so that they accentuate the rug, update the style, and provide comfort for their bible study and supper club guests.
Here's the completed design board:

I've chosen some lovely fabrics from Silk Trading Company, the swatches should arrive around Wednesday. Yum!!!

I have to admit, I ordered one swatch for myself as well - - -

isn't it lovely?

I believe that designs, like all aspects of life, have a waiting period.
