I know everyone loves having a long weekend but for the next few days please do take some time to remember why we celebrate. Thank someone in service for a job well done. They face their fears daily folks, if only we all had that kind of courage.

I love these photos of you father. How handsome he was! I lost my own father almost 8 years ago and the world is a much harder place for me without him.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Tough time for me..I'm trying to be positive...but you cannot imagine how much it helped to get encouraging comments from my blogging friends.
