The Miniature Duplex
I loved my last two homes. They were the perfect spots for me at those particular moments in life.
1st, the country house (where I learned to let things go)
“A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone." Then, the city house: (where I rushed into falling and decided to not let it ever go)
"Wise men say, only fools rush in. But I can't help falling in love with you."Align CenterBut now I'm in the new house and its cute. . .but dark. . .and small. . .and I've hit a wall when it comes to decorating it. I'm being persistent though AND I'm motivated (which is an entirely fabulous combo!)
"Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock."
You remember on Will and Grace when Grace would have a "design orgasm" and get really excited about an idea for a room? Well I have NOT been having one of those! I'm pressing on anyway though- - - - -here are some of my thoughts:
The bedroom:The kitchen:The office/dining room:The bathroom:and finally, the most difficult room, the living area:(sorry, so many of these pictures have been stored on my computer for ages and ages so I can't give credit where it is due but if they're yours or you know where they came from, please please please let me know!)
The inspiration for the entire house is right here yo!: Marie Antoinette - blue, pink, yellow, white MORE is MORE (in a very "edited" sort of way)My wonderful mom is coming to help this weekend, wish us luck (and hope we don't murder each other)!!!
Ya'll have a good one and come back soon! :)
"Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there's love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong."

News alert!: Just found out that my bathroom inspiration was originally posted on "Desire to Inspire". Thanks to "Decor Amor" for the reminder!
